GOOD KIDS: HOW NOT TO RAISE AN A**HOLE, A NEW PODCAST FROM LEMONADA MEDIA LAUNCHES IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

A Five-Episode Binge Available Right Before Thanksgiving

NEW YORK, NY – November 12, 2019 – Good Kids: How Not to Raise an A**hole, the third original podcast from Lemonada Media, is serving you a nourishing treat this Thanksgiving: five episodes to binge starting 11/26. The trailer for this brand new show dropped today with a taste of what’s to come.

Good Kids: How Not to Raise an A**hole is a podcast for anyone in the trenches of parenting or anyone with an opinion on parenting (see: everyone). For 15 minutes each week, a diverse set of parents, teachers, policy makers, and world shapers grab the mic and offer relevant advice, rants, and reflections on child-rearing today. It’s funny, touching, helpful, and exactly what the world needs right now.

“This podcast reflects the constant monologue in the head of every parent, including me and Steph: Is my kid going to be an asshole? Am I messing this all up?” says Jessica Cordova Kramer, CEO and co-founder of Lemonada Media.

“We know the holidays are hard, so we are dropping five episodes right before Thanksgiving. This show is the manual we all need for how to raise not-shitty kids who turn into non-shitty adults,” reflects Stephanie Wittels Wachs, Lemonada Chief Creative Officer and co-founder, and the show’s executive producer.

Earlier this year, Lemonada Media teamed up with Cumulus Media’s Westwood One, America’s largest audio network, to distribute, sell, and build audiences across the Lemonada network. “As the mother of five children, I am particularly enthusiastic about bringing Good Kids: How Not to Raise an A**hole to market,” said Suzanne Grimes, EVP Marketing, Cumulus Media and President, Westwood One. “Each episode delivers a humorous and quick education from personal experience to help our kids grow up to become strong, kind, and resourceful adults.”

Award-winning podcaster, Jessica Cordova Kramer (Crooked Media, Pod Save the People) and best-selling author Stephanie Wittels Wachs joined forces this spring to form Lemonada Media, offering an unfiltered version of the human experience. The network offers content that is raw and real, sorting through the ugliness, weirdness, awkwardness, and darkness life can bring. They recently launched the chart-topping Last Day, their first of three original series which explores the epidemics starting with the opioids crisis, followed by As Me with Sinéad, hosted by Sinéad Burke.

Cordova Kramer met Wittels Wachs in 2017, shortly after both women had lost their brothers to opioid overdoses. Hearing Wittels Wachs talking about her brother on the Terrible, Thanks for Asking podcast, Cordova Kramer felt understood and less alone in her grief; she even laughed. The women connected over their shared experiences, and the idea to bring Lemonada to life was born: Turn lemons into lemonade, one podcast at a time.
