KANSAS CITY, MO, November 3, 2021 – Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed Jaye Powers as On-Air Host, Afternoon Drive, for Kansas City Rock radio station 105.1 The X, KCJK-FM. Powers can be heard on 105.1 The X weekday afternoons from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Previously hosting Afternoon Drive, Cassiday Proctor transfers to Cumulus Buffalo-Erie.

Powers joined Cumulus Kansas City in 2020. In addition to weekend host duties on 105.1 The X, he served as in-studio producer of sister-station 94.9 KCMO-FM’s top-ranked “Kelly and Mackenzie” morning show. Powers remains part of the sideline production team for Kansas City Chiefs home games.
