Cumulus Media’s 1280 WNAM Signs Exclusive Long-Term Deal as Radio Broadcast Home of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers
2022 Marks 1280 WNAM’s 13th Season as the Destination Station for Timber Rattlers Baseball Play-by-Play
OSHKOSH, WI, February 14, 2022 – Cumulus Media announces that it has entered into an exclusive long-term agreement for its Appleton-Oshkosh, WI, AM station 1280 WNAM to remain the official radio broadcast home of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. 2022 will be the 13th season that the Timber Rattlers have been broadcast on WNAM, with 23-year play-by-play voice Chris Mehring calling the action.
The Timber Rattlers are the High-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers and play their home games at Appleton’s Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
In addition to the radio broadcast on 1280 AM, fans can also hear the games on the free WNAM smartphone app as well as the iHeartRadio, Audacy and TuneIn apps and at www.1280wnam.com.
