Worth, TX, March 8, 2022 – Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that its Dallas-Fort Worth Country radio stations New Country 96.3 (KSCS-FM) and 99.5 The Wolf (KPLX-FM) raised more than $165,000 for Cook Children’s through the first-ever Texas Independence Jam guitar-pull concert on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the historic Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth. This year’s event brought Country music fans a star-studded lineup including Maren Morris, Parker McCollum, Clay Walker, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Ryan Hurd, Priscilla Block, Drew Parker, Scotty McCreery, and surprise guest, Cody Johnson.
Hundreds of tickets to New Country 96.3 and 99.5 The Wolf’s Texas Independence Jam went on sale on Friday, January 7 and sold out in 17 minutes. The remaining tickets were given away to listeners by 12 times a day, online and on-site at sponsored ticket hits.
Additionally, 99.5 The Wolf Winners qualified for a Grand Prize of a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado truck provided by Galleria Chevrolet. The winner was announced live on-stage at the Texas Independence Jam. Scotty McCreery helped conduct the reverse drawing to select the lucky winner, and Alyssa of North Richland Hills walked away with a brand-new truck.
