Cumulus Media’s 95.5 WFMS-FM “Stuff the Studio” Holiday Toy and Gift Drive to Benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis
On-Air Personalities Invite the Community to Donate New Holiday Toys and Gifts to Area Kids Ages 5-17 During Live Broadcasts at Walmart and Kroger Locations Across Central Indiana From November 27th Through December 1st
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – November 22, 2023 – Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that Indianapolis Country station 95.5 WFMS-FM and the Central Indiana Chevy Dealers have again partnered to collect toys for area kids in need that will “Stuff the Studio” and bring holiday cheer to members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis. The station will broadcast live daily from 10am–7pm on Monday, November 27th through Friday, December 1st, at select Walmart and Kroger locations across Central Indiana. Donations of new toys and gifts will be accepted onsite for boys and girls ages 5-17 in the “Stuff the Studio” toy and gift drive.
Given current economic conditions, budgeting for holiday toys is not always an option for Club families, half of whom earn an annual household income of $25,000 or less. The donation of a new toy or gift for Club members from ages 5-17 will help many who may not typically share in the joy of the season.
Taylor J., On-Air Personality, 95.5 WFMS-FM, said: “The 95.5 WFMS family of listeners and staff always look forward to coming together to help ensure every boy and girl across Central Indiana has a joyful Christmas. We send a special thanks to the Central Indiana Chevy Dealers, the team at Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis, Jack’s Donuts, Shake Shack, Kroger, Lou Malnati’s, and Walmart.”
Maggie A. Lewis, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis, said: “We are grateful to once again be selected by the 95.5 WFMS team as their charity partner for this holiday project. The generosity of the community will help us provide hope and opportunity for our Club kids this holiday season.”
