Cumulus Charleston radio stations and local non-profit iServeWithJoy will collect donations of school supplies for area children in need at a live broadcast and collection event today at Park Circle Creamery – with FREE ice cream for the first 100 people to come to the event!

WHAT: Cumulus Charleston’s Z93 JAMZ and Magic 107.3 will present its “5^th Annual 843 Day” today to help Lowcountry kids going back to school! Every hour from 10:00am-Midnight, the radio stations will give away backpacks on-air – with a new Chromebook inside and a $25 gift card! The stations will also join Charleston non-profit iServeWithJoy to collect community donations of school supplies for Lowcountry kids in need at a live broadcast from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Park Circle Creamery. iServeWithJoy will collect school supplies for local children heading back to school from 3:00pm-7:00pm, and will give away gas cards, a pair of Beats earbuds and other items. Free ice cream will be served to the first 100 people to come to the collection event!
