Cumulus Wilmington Radio Stations Raise Over $70,000 in 26th Annual Cumulus Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon Benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
WILMINGTON, NC – February 21, 2024 – Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that Wilmington, NC, radio stations WWQQ 101.3/WWQQ-FM (Country), 102.7 GNI/WGNI-FM (AC), and Coast 97.3/WMNX (Urban) and listeners came together to raise $70,528 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through its 26-hour 26th Annual Cumulus Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon. The two-day fundraising event was held on Tuesday, February 14th and Wednesday, February 15th to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude that no child should die in the dawn of life.

Cumulus Wilmington on-air hosts including WWQQ Morning Host Eric Medler, WMNX Midday Host Sandra “The Mid-Day Miss,” WMNX Program Director Bigg B, and WGNI Program Director David Bartley broadcasted live in-studio, with special guests, interviews and more to support the kids of St. Jude. All funds raised by the Radiothon will go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and will support St. Jude patients and families who never receive a bill from St. Jude for the cost of treatment, travel, housing or food.
